. it is a different tlesh hold than what the obama administration has laid out when you look carefully at what the president said at the general assembly, the most recent remarks on iran's nuclear program, he said the united states will not allow iran to have a nuclear bomb. i am paraphrasing to a certain degree. the word capability was not there. you did hear it from the israeli prime minister and today you're hearing it once again from mitt romney. mitt romney has been vague. he has gone back and forth on the issue of capability and sometimes he says it and sometimes he doesn't. today he is very cat goral in saying in a romney administration iran would not be able to have that capability of building a nuclear bomb which is significantly different than the threshold laid out by the president. >> and let's talk about syria which has been somewhat of a thorn in the side of this current sitting american president, and mr. romney, governor romney's view of syria, there was something in these prepared remarks that we excerpted that stood out to me and i want to get your take on it. he said or he w

be manipulated by the obama administration. do you think that the numbers add up? >> i think the suggestion that the numbers was cooked is relatively ridiculous. that being said. economists at the labor department will admit freely that there is a lot of margin of error in these numbers. a month after each job report these numbers are revised upward or downward. the question of the number came out of the household survey, 800,000 plus number, there is a lot of margin for error, possibly as much as 400,000. that is admitted by folks within the labor department, as well. i think you can't get too hung up on the overall numbers because typically these are revised upward or downward. that tends to happen a month later when we stop paying attention. >> heather: what will the numbers do in terms of swaying voters' opinions, specifically undecided voter? do you expect to see a change in the polls as a result of this? >> it's a tough question. i generally think the jobs reports do not move as much of opinion of voting public with the amount of noise in the d.c. bubble so to speak. with all the rest

then, so i decided at that moment i was not going to do 2012. my son was now year-old. he is the obama baby. i second son was born about the 120-day mark of the new administration. so we had a lot of stuff going on and home, too. but when i look at it, it is so different. i have 58 races under my belt. the obama campaign has not had one really this year. so i thought this is really hard work. some people may describe it in the news as a slog. i imagine it is. it's probably really hard to go that long. as far as what is the difference, i don't know yet. at this point you have to pick seven or 58 tests -- 57 or 58 tests to see how things are going, but not this time around. it's a pretty tight organization. i think the romney campaign has had a lot of the same challenges we have had and more in 2008 than this campaign in 2012. in terms of the difference between romney and obama this time? well, one is a calendar campaign and one is an incumbent campaign. no one has asked for my advice, but you see romney coming toward the debates and one of the challenges -- and i will talk about both ca
